“In a frightening and ever-changing world, there are too many people who are living without even the simplest of freedoms.
We should all be able to look forward to sharing a happy time together with our loved ones...
But for many, this just isn't possible because of where their life has taken them.
At Christmastime, there will be countless people who are away from their homes, away from their families, and separated from their loved ones.
They may have suffered loss or grief, been uprooted from their home, or had a tough year in endless other ways.
It's important to remember that while some of us are able to happy, there are many won't be able to share in this feeling, and that can be very isolating.
"Christmastime' is not a hard-edged or cynical song; it's a simple little tune, but it does have a heartfelt lyric which I hope will resonate with people.
I think we've all experienced difficult times in our life, and it's important to share the love and the honesty,'
