It features 6 original tracks, all written by Helder and capturing the deep emotion and passion of her songwriting. 'The Contact' received national airplay on BBC Radio 2, with the legendary DJ Bob Harris declaring: "This is very dramatic music". Musical Discoveries described Anne-Marie's vocal performances as "simply stunning". All instruments on the album are also played by Helder (Guitar, piano, flute, string programming, etc); with the wonderful addition of Dave Kilminster (Roger Waters band) on lead guitar and co-production. |
